Job Summary:
We’re hiring a dependable, mechanically inclined System Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll install specialized fire suppression systems—like kitchen hoods and spray booth systems—at commercial and industrial sites. You’ll be expected to work from job drawings, follow clear instructions from our specialists, and get the job done right, without needing someone to look over your shoulder.
This is a great fit for someone who’s good with tools, works hard, and wants steady, meaningful work in a skilled trade.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install suppression system components based on drawings and instructions.
- Use hand and power tools with confidence and care.
- Work closely with our specialist or salesperson to ensure a smooth, accurate install.
- Keep your work area and vehicle clean and organized.
- Follow safety guidelines and local code requirements (we’ll train you).
- Troubleshoot and adjust as needed during installs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong mechanical ability and experience working with tools in the field.
- Able to follow directions, take initiative, and finish what you start.
- Shows up on time, ready to work, and takes pride in doing clean, quality work.
- Willing to learn our trade and grow with us long-term.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts.
Bonus if You Have:
- Experience in HVAC, carpentry, low-voltage, or fire protection (not required).
- Familiarity with systems like Ansul, Range Guard, Kidde, or Pyro-Chem.
- Any manufacturer certifications or relevant trade licenses.
